Tracking and Customizing

Project Level 2 is designed for you if you have an understanding of project management concepts, already have the basic skills to create and modify project plans using Microsoft Project, and need to use Microsoft Project to manage and customize those plans through the implementation stage of a project. You will learn to track progress, compare actual progress to planned progress, alter the scope of the project, customize the use of resources during an active project, combine many projects into one master project that allows for resource and calendar sharing as well as easy resource over-allocation detection, report customization, and system automation.

This course is designed for a person who has an understanding of project management concepts, who is responsible for creating and modifying project plans, and who needs to use Microsoft Project as a tool to manage these project plans.


You should have the ability to create and update project plans using Microsoft Project. You can obtain this level of skills and knowledge by taking  the Level 1 course of Microsoft® Project.
