Word processing is the use of computers to create, revise, and save documents for printing and future retrieval. This course will provide you with the basic concepts required to produce basic business documents.

To be successful in this course, you should be familiar with using a personal computer, a mouse, and a keyboard. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on the computer. Specifically, you should be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders. To ensure your success, we recommend you first take one an introductory Windows course or have equivalent skills and knowledge.
