Social Media Advertising Introduction
You will gain an understanding of how social media advertising works. We will discuss how Second-Price Auctions and advertising metrics work. You will also define your campaign and get a contextual understanding of how to engage the right audience at the right time on the right social network.
Facebook and Instagram
You will learn how to find the people you want to advertise to, get their attention, and measure the results using Facebook's advertising platform. You will also learn about the different Facebook and Instagram ad formats and targeting options available based on your advertising objectives using the Facebook Business Manager. In addition, you will learn the best practices of image selection and ad copy to help drive reach, engagement, and conversions. Finally, you will learn how to measure success using conversion tracking and advertising analytics.
You will learn how to create objective-based campaigns, reach the right people, and analyze your performance using Twitter's advertising platform. You will learn about the different Twitter ad types and targeting options available based on your advertising objectives. Advertising objectives can include increasing site visits, increasing conversions and sales, driving engagement, and building an audience or promoting a mobile app. You will learn how to use targeting on Twitter including how to target based on keywords, followers of influencers and competitors, demographics and more. You will learn how to measure your ad performance using Twitter's advertising dashboard so you can understand your audience.
You will learn how to create a campaign using Promoted Pins on Pinterest to build awareness, engagement, and traffic. You will learn how to create Buyable Pins for your e-commerce store and learn how to use the Pinterest Analytics Dashboard to measure the success of your advertising efforts as well as engagement and audience insights.
Other Social Platforms
You will be given an overview of advertising on social media platforms including LinkedIn, SnapChat, and YouTube. You will learn how to set up a Sponsored Post campaign and a PPC campaign in LinkedIn using their self service platform. You will learn how to use GeoFilters On Demand in SnapChat to promote brand awareness based on a defined geofenced area. Learn how to configure and launch a video ad using Google AdWords in YouTube and gain an understanding of how social media advertising works. We will discuss Second-Price Auctions, advertising metrics, and defining your campaign. Finally, you will get a contextual understanding of how to engage the right audience at the right time on the right social network.
